Mais um ano, mais uma ronda de nomeações àqueles que são considerados os Óscares da televisão. A liderar a lista com o maior número de indicações aos Emmys 2026 está a série dramática da HBO, “The Pitt”, com um total de 25 nomeações, seguindo-se a comédia “Hacks”, da mesma plataforma, com 24. Já “Widow’s Bay” e “Pluribus”, da Apple TV+, somam 19 e 18, respectivamente.
Os vencedores serão conhecidos a 14 de Setembro, numa cerimónia apresentada pela actriz Mariska Hargitay, conhecida pelo seu papel como Olivia Benson na série “Law & Order: SVU”. Será a primeira vez que uma mulher guia a apresentação destes galardões em 15 anos.
